Research On Liaocheng Official Family In Tang Dynasty

The establishment of the imperial examination system in the Sui and Tang Dynasties opened up a way for the rising ethnic groups.Several official families in Liaocheng area,with their regional economic and cultural advantages,rise along with the system,among which there are Weizhou Guancheng Liu family,Weizhou Guan family and Liaocheng Lianglu family,and Bozhou Wushui Sun family.Each family both has its own characteristics and its shared traditional family similarities in a specific historical period and the same geographical decelopment process.Based on the analysis of a large number of official history,epitaphs,local chronicles and other materials,this paper explores the reasons for the rise of Liaocheng official families in the Tang Dynasty,their development process,official political style and family style.The first chapter of the thesis analyzes the reasons for the rise of Liaocheng official families in the Tang Dynasty.The rise of official families in Tang Dynasty was comprehensively influenced by regional culture,imperial examination system and education.The second chapter summarizes and clarifies the context and process of the rising and development of Liaocheng's official families in the Tang Dynasty by sorting out their representative figures from generation to generation.The third chapter explores the cultural characteristics of Liaocheng official families in the Tang Dynasty.On the one hand,these members of the official family each constitute an official ethnic cliques.They abide by the traditional sage way and show excellent political style in the aspects of canonizing and selecting talents,diligent administration and promoting profits,loyalty and remonstrating.On the other hand,these official families have profound family and academic origins.They worship Confucianism and are willing to learn.The scholars and scholars have successively become literary families with profound accumulation.They also abide by the traditional Confucian belief,take filial piety,and pay attention to moral ethics.Most of the members of the family have shown their honest,humble and respectful character and inherited their fine family style.In short,Liaocheng official families in the Dang Dynasty have their own historical law in their long development of the rise and fall,which is closely related to Liaocheng unique regional culture and the imperial examination system.Under the influence of the Confucian culture and other factors,they form a certain scale of official families with the help of the imperial examination system,and formed a unique regional family culture of their time.
