Research On Performing Techniques Of Meihu Oper Erhu

Meihu opera is a kind of folk opera with a history of around three hundred years.It originated from the street-stall rap and is well known among Linfen and Yuncheng city,most parts of Shanxi province and west of Henan province.Erhu is a cavity instrument besides the“three major instruments” in meihu band,which plays an important role in it.Being a folk opera,meihu opera needs some certain theoretical supports in the instruments' playing techniques.In this paper,“meihu erhu”especially refers to the erhu in meihu opera.Studies on the playing techniques of “meihu erhu”can provide theoretical basis when playing meihu opera.Based on the historical development of meihu opera,the understanding of Qu's aria and some problems of techniques to analyze and the standard's application,this paper is more conducive to the unique music of erhu performance,which,to some extent,improves the accompaniment of meihu.The research on the playing techniques of “meihu erhu” is of great significance for improving the playing techniques of the current “meihu erhu” players,and the correct and standard use of playing techniques has a profound impact on the development and inheritance of “meihu erhu”.
