The thesis consists of four parts,namely,the introduction,the image-shaping category of British Victorian children's adventure novels,the image-shaping art of British Victorian children's adventure novels,and the image of British Victorian children's adventure novels.The first is the introduction,and the introduction is a review of research at home and abroad.The level of foreign research is relatively high,mainly focusing on children's adventure novel research,educational political utilitarian research,entertainment research relative to dogmatism,and interdisciplinary research,including postcolonial research and gender research,with high reference value.Domestic academic circles still have weak research on children's adventure novels in this period.At present,the research focuses on subject research,macroscopic research in the history of British children's literature,interdisciplinary research,and research on specific works of writers in Victoria,but for The image research of British Victorian children's adventure novels still lacks specialized and systematic research results.The first chapter is the image shaping category of British Victorian children's adventure novels.This chapter begins with the self-image of the empire's successor and the image of the other in the colony.The self-image of the empire's successor is mainly to study the growing male protagonist and guide.The colonial other image mainly studies the colonial male and the colonial female and the other.The second chapter is the image-shaping art of British Victorian children's adventure novels.This chapter is explained from the perspectives of the narrator constructing the self-illusion,the image of the other in the monologue and the pattern of the moving image under the timed space.The third chapter is the reason for the image of the British Victorian children's adventure novels.This chapter is divided into two parts:the industrial revolution and the colonialism of the era and the conscious part of the children's adventure novels.The first epoch of the industrial revolution and the empire colonialism are studied from the perspectives of the industrial revolution and the image of imperialism and imperial colonialism.The conscious of the second child adventure novels from the cultural revolution of the industrial revolution,The collision of rational exegesis and romantic fantasy,the revolution of children's literature:the golden age of children's adventures explains the literary trend of the time and the inner development of literature.This chapter attempts to explain the reasons for the image of children's adventure novels in this period from external and internal causes.This thesis uses the theories of imageology,post-colonialism,neo-historicism,and narratology to study the image of Victorian children's adventure novels in the United Kingdom,trying to connect with a wider range of strata,regions,and gender differences,and to explore the power discourse tendency.In order to re-examine the literary image of the period in the broad contemporary cultural field,in order to deeply reflect and explore the new era of self and the other's reasonable power discourse system in the historical text.
