In recent years,emotional contagion has become a social hot issue.With the rapid development of society and technology,people can connect with each other through physical and virtual space closely.When emergencies happen,individuals are highly susceptible to emotional contagion through information interaction in both physical and virtual space.Therefore,it is very important to realistically simulate the process of crowd emotional contagion and better control the emotional contagion,which can avoid the large-scale spread of potential negative emotions in advance and provide guidance for crowd evacuation simulation.The traditional crowd emotional contagion model mainly studies the process of emotional contagion in physical space or virtual space.However,the individuals are affected by the information interaction in both physical and virtual space.Therefore,the existing emotional contagion model can not simulate the process of personalized crowd emotional contagion realistically,and it can not control the speed and scale of crowd emotional contagion accurately.To solve the above problems,we first propose a personalized physical and virtual space based emotional contagion model.This model comprehensively considers the influences of virtual space,physical space and individual personality on crowd emotional contagion to simulate the process of personalized crowd emotional contagion more realistically.Furthermore,we propose a method of control strategies for crowd emotional contagion coupling the physical and virtual space to control the speed and scale of crowd emotional contagion more accurately.Finally,we construct a crowd evacuation simulation system coupling the physical and virtual space emotional contagion to visualize the results of theoretical analysis.The main work and innovation of this paper are as follows:1.To solve the problem of the process of emotional contagion can not be simulated realistically,a personalized physical and virtual space based emotional contagion model(PVP-ECM)is proposed.First,we construct an individual emotion model and propose the emotional contagion rules to consider the influences of the individual personality on crowdemotional contagion coupling the virtual and physical space.In addition,we construct the PVP-ECM to simulate the process of crowd emotional contagion.Next,we construct a personalized BA scale-free network for the PVP-ECM simulation to further verify the stability of the model.Finally,we perform the PVP-ECM simulation to verify and visualize the theoretical analysis results.The proposed model can simulate the process of crowd emotional contagion more realistically and can provide guidance for coping with the personalized crowd emotional contagion of a large-scale crowd evacuation.2.To solve the problem of the speed and scale of emotional contagion can not be controlled accurately,the method of control strategies for crowd emotional contagion coupling the virtual and physical space is proposed.We first establish a novel personalized emotional contagion computational(NP-ECC)model to study control strategies of crowd emotional contagion coupling the physical and virtual space.In addition,we construct a personalized BA scale-free network to calculate the phase transition threshold of the proposed NP-ECC model more accurately.Next,we propose two algorithms,control strategies-BA(CS-BA)and threshold-BA(T-BA),to verify the stability of the NP-ECC model and the accuracy of the phase transition threshold,respectively.Finally,we perform the NP-ECC simulation to visualize the theoretical analysis results.The proposed method can better control the speed and scale of crowd emotional contagion and thus can provide guidance for a large-scale crowd evacuation.3.A crowd evacuation simulation system coupling the physical and virtual space emotional contagion is constructed.We use the crowd evacuation simulation platform to visually analyze and validate the PVP-ECM model and the NP-ECC model,which allows non-technical people to understand the simulation results more intuitively.
