Research On The Art Of Cutting Porcelain Carving In Minnan

Minnan region is located in the southeast coast of China.The specific geographical location makes Minnan region possess multi-culture and multi-belief,thus forming the traditional folk art with regional characteristics.Cutting porcelain carving is an important part of folk sculpture art in Southern Fujian.As the architectural decoration of temples in Southern Fujian,it is the manifestation and main carrier of the culture and belief of Southern Fujian.Through studying its formation and development,it has profound significance to understand Minnan culture and folk custom.This article selects the Zhangzhou Dongshan district cutting porcelain carving for instance,to the field investigation in combination with related literature,to cut the background of the porcelain carving art form,development and aesthetic and art research,through in the field of culture,history and other interdisciplinary perspective,to cut the porcelain carving culture,aesthetic,sustainability,etc were analyzed,and interpreted the hidden deep meaning and cultural symbol,comb long hidden behind cut the porcelain carving art elements of logical relation and the theory system.Starting with the research on the art of cutting porcelain carving,this paper eplores the relationship between traditional art and society,and at the same time realizes the dilemma and difficulties faced by traditional art in modern society,so more attention should be paid to the cultural heritage of cutting porcelain carving,so as to obtain higher research and protection.
