As the material shell of language,pronunciation is an important part of second language learning and and also an important standard to measure the level of second language learners.This paper takes primary Chinese learners as the research object,and studies the use of Chinese pronunciation learning strategies through questionnaires,pronunciation tests,interviews and other forms.And the influence of individual learners' factors on the use of strategies is explored.In addition,by comparing the use of strategies of successful and unsuccessful learners,we explore the effectiveness of pronunciation learning strategies.The main conclusions of this paper as follows.(1)The primamry Chinese learners sometimes use pronunciation learning strategies.The most commonly used strategies are affective strategies,and the least commonly used strategies are memory strategies and compensation strategies.(2)There is no significant difference in the use of pronunciation learning strategies among the learners with different gender,age,learning motivation and learning time.(3)The choice of learning strategies is related to the nationality and motivation of learners.(4)The difference of using metacognitive strategies between high-score and low-score groups is the most significant.(5)Cognitive,metacognitive,memory,emotional and social strategies are positively correlated with pronunciation performance.According to the characteristics of successful learners' pronunciation learning,this paper puts forward the following five suggestions for learners: enhancing the initiative of pronunciation learning,learning Chinese pronunciation knowledge,improving pronunciation accuracy,increasing pronunciation input and output,improving pronunciation fluency,paying attention to the use of metacognitive strategies,enhancing cooperative learning awareness,and learning strategies from others.According to the influence of learners' individual factors on pronunciation learning,this paper puts forward the following three teaching suggestions for teachers: to improve the awareness of using pronunciation teaching strategies,to enhance the relevance of pronunciation teaching strategies,and to cultivate students' self-learning ability.
