Study On The Drama Performance Of Old Summer Place

In the history of Chinese opera,the imperial drama of the Qing Dynasty has special significance.The Qing Dynasty included opera performances in court ceremonies,set up Nanfu and Shengping Bureau,which specially managed opera performances.They also wrote scripts,selected actors and built stage,and used a lot of manpower,material and financial resources to serve the special audience of emperors and empresses.All these make the Qing Palace opera reach its peak and play an important role in promoting the development and prosperity of folk opera and the formation and maturity of Beijing opera.In the far-reaching history of Qing Palace drama,the main venue of performance activities is not in the Forbidden City,but in the Summer Place.Summer Place is the main place where the performance activities of Qing Palace Opera took place.It undertook most of the theatrical tasks before Xianfeng Dynasty.It can be said that the Summer Place opera is not only a key link of the Qing Palace opera,but also an important part of the Qing Dynasty opera culture.The location of the Shengping Department witnessed the development and changes of the Qing Palace's theatrical activities.In the early stage,the Shengping Department was divided into two categories: the intrauterine Shengping Department and the Summer Place Shengping Department.The geographical location of the Summer Place Shengping Department was in Taiping Village.After the destruction of the Summer Place,the functions of the Summer Place Shengping Department were replaced by the Summer Palace Shengping Department.The Shengping Department of Summer Place has served for more than 130 years for the performance activities of the Qing Palace,which occupies a very important position in the history of the performance of the Qing Palace.According to the materials available at present,there are 19 stages in Summer Place.According to the statistics of the construction age,three new ones were built in Yongzheng,five in Qianlong,four in Jiaqing,two in Daoguang,one in Xianfeng,and the construction time of the remaining four stages is unknown.On the basis of sorting out the construction age of each stage in Summer Place,this paper summarizes the overall performance law of each stage according to the relevant archives.Among them,the Taohuawu stage built in December,16 th year of Jiaqing,which was not mentioned in previous works,is a new discovery of theThe performance of Yidian Opera in Summer Place is an example of Chengying Opera "Eliminating Evils by Elaborating Taoism" in the Dragon Boat Festival of the Qing Palace.Eliminating Evils by Elaborating Taoism is an indispensable repertoire for the routine performance of the Qing Palace during the Dragon Boat Festival every year.However,due to the serious scattered archives of the Shengping Bureau,the academic circles have been unable to know its succession relationship with the "Hun Yuan He" and its performance in the Jiaqing Dynasty.This paper aims to solve this problem by combing historical materials.The performances of the operas in Summer Place are illustrated by the performances in Jiaqing Dynasty of Liantaiben Grand Theatre "Quanshan Jinke","Shengping Baorfa","DingZhi ChunQiu","Zhaodai Xiaoshao","Xingtang History" adapted and named by Emperor Xianfeng.There are four kinds of Taiwanese operas performed in Jiaqing Dynasty,namely“Quanshan Jinke "," Shengping Baofa ",DingZhi ChunQiu " and "Zhaodai Xiaoshao".Their performances are frequent and form a routine.They are performed at the beginning,middle and end of the year.Secondly,in the Xianfeng Dynasty,when the Qing Palace drama was in a downturn,the History of the Xingtang Dynasty was adapted and named by Emperor Xianfeng himself,which became a unique drama in the Liantai opera of the Qing Palace.The performance of the play reflects the late stage of Summer Place's theatrical activities,and also reflects the whole history of Summer Place's theatrical activities from prosperity to decline.
