There Is No End To Learning

This essay is designed for graduate student Yu Liucheng’ s graduation solo concert themed “Live and Learn”,which aims to summarize my study on national vocal music in China Conservatory of Music as well as report of my achievement in three years’ study to my honored instructor and those who are concerned about my study.The concert’s profile elaborates the reason for selecting the theme,the purpose of holding the concert,and my general idea about the concert.Through analysis on each song,in-depth knowing about composing background,and focus on details of scientific singing and stage performance,I intend to make the concert more presentable while improving my vocal singing skills and interpretation of music.The repertoire of the concert covers 12 different styles of songs,such as classical poetry,Chinese art songs,creative songs,local folk songs,and opera excerpts.The performance of different styles of songs reflects the teaching principle of my instructor.
