A Research On The Construction Of Cultural Images Of Countries In Rural Theme Documentaries

With the development of globalization,cultural exchange is becoming more and more prosperous.If we want to have our own land in the global cultural forest,the construction of national cultural image becomes more and more important.Rural culture contains the essence of China’s excellent traditional culture.The country pays attention to rural culture through policies such as rural revitalization and beautiful rural areas.Rural documentary can carry national emotion and transmit national will.The national cultural image constructed by rural documentary can not only promote the external communication and exchange of Chinese cultural image,strengthen the position of China in global culture,but also enhance the cultural confidence of Chinese people.The author through the observation of works,combing the relevant research,as well as field visits and other methods to study.First of all,this paper explores the shaping of rural culture and national cultural image.Rural culture is the core of national cultural image,and the excellent traditional culture and new era rural culture in rural culture are the fundamental foothold of national cultural image.The connotation of rural culture includes: harmonious unity,self-improvement,filial piety,benevolence and righteousness,as well as the new era of rural morality and fashion.The national cultural image is contained in the matrix of rural culture,and the cultural elements in rural culture are the carriers to present the national cultural image.The key chapter of this paper is the content presentation means of constructing national cultural image in rural documentary,which combines symbol and literature rhetoric to present national cultural image.The symbols in rural documentary can be divided into linguistic symbols and non linguistic symbols.Under the same cultural background,people’s understanding of language is similar.The national cultural image presented by language symbols is easy for the audience to understand and accept.Nonverbal symbols include festival symbols,physical symbols,behavior symbols and scene symbols.Nonverbal symbols are closely related to our lives.The role of context solidification of nonverbal symbols in the process of communication isweakened,which is easier to be understood and accepted by the audience.In the presentation of screen rhetoric,the author creatively combines literary rhetoric with documentary pictures,seeks more powerful means of content presentation in the intersection of literature and documentary,emphasizes,metaphors,and renders the ingenious use of rhetoric,so that the national cultural image has stronger vitality and appeal.The construction of the national cultural image in the rural documentary is also reflected in the narrative strategy.This paper discusses from three aspects: the theme of rural culture,image shaping and story telling.The cultural themes contained in the rural theme documentary show the unique cultural customs with a new rural perspective,show different national characteristics with the national narrative,and tell colorful cultural images with readable stories.The national cultural image created by the rural documentary is also beneficial to the display of the time characteristics,national soul and national will in the national cultural image.The story telling of rural documentary presents the national cultural image to our eyes in an all-round,multi angle and three-dimensional narrative way.Finally,the presentation of the national cultural image is based on the pictures of the rural documentary.No matter the micro lens selection or the macro overall performance,the rural documentary focuses on the national cultural image and constructs the national cultural image with its unique advantages.China’s national cultural image is deep and unrestrained,warm and implicit with Chinese characteristics.Through the research,the author found that the national cultural image is constantly changing under the trend of history and the times,and presented to the audience in a way consistent with the aesthetic of the times.The rural documentary is like a gorgeous cloth,which is tailored for the national cultural image with its unique advantages.With the essence of rural culture,the unique narrative strategy,and the documentary symbols as the basis,the rural theme documentary constructs the national cultural image of traditional and modern integration,harmony and progress,benevolence and righteousness and self-confidence in the expression of the picture.
