Research On Automatic Composition System

This paper proposes a song melody automatic composition model and corresponding quality assessment model.In the melody composition model,the rhythm and melodic line of different excerpts from sample songs are re-organized to generate a new melodic piece.A new melody is constructed for input lyrics according to the logic relations among the melodic phrases defined in a selected composition template,which is built on a sample song during a training stage.In the quality assessment model,an objective estimative model involving creativity and beauty is proposed to avoid an inconsistent assessment criterion among different evaluators,as typically occurs with traditional assessment methods based on subjective human assessment.The estimated results of creativity and beauty change with the size change in the collected sample songs.An automatic composition system can be built to simulate different composing styles based on the collection and classification of sample songs.
