Environmental aesthetic education connects environment aesthetics with environmental education,which has abundant theoretical and practical value.In this thesis,the research perspective depends on environment aesthetics and environmental education.According to aesthetic relevance,linking the related theory of environmental education,Carlson's points about the knowledge type of environmental aesthetic education and Berleant's views about the aesthetic process of environmental aesthetic education and the point about educational aesthetics,we explain the goal and theoretical direction of environmental aesthetic education,and gives a interpret about its characteristics and significance.The innovation of this thesis lies in the expansion of the research field,that means we add the research of environmental education to the study of environmental aesthetic education,which except the research of the aesthetic education in the scope of environment aesthetics.In the past,the research of aesthetic education focused on the two parts of aesthetic theory education and aesthetic appreciation,and discussed the effect of art on the aesthetic appreciation and the behavior of creating beautiful stuff.Based on the in-deep interpretation of the concept of natural beauty in contemporary western environmental aesthetics,we analyze the specific theory related to aesthetic education in the scope of environmental aesthetics.In addition,the author also conducts a deeper discussion about environmental aesthetic education that combine with the relative practice of environmental aesthetic education in the field of environmental education.The research of this thesis mainly analyses and extends points depending on the viewpoints and documents of relevant theorists.According to arguments of environmental aesthetic theorists like Hepburn,Carlson and Berleant,the author sorts out the main viewpoints of aesthetic education and makes clear up of thread thoughts in environmental aesthetic education from the scope of environmental aesthetics,and then expands the related knowledge of natural history.And in order to enriching the theoretical demonstration content of environmental aesthetic education,the author analyzes the development and practical performance of it in line with the theory and practice of environmental education.The research of this paper concludes three parts.The first part is divided into two chapters.The author analyzes the theory of environmental aesthetic education of environmental education and environment aesthetics that use the ways of literature analysis and historical analysis.In the first chapter,starting from the research of the development of environmental education,the author analyzes the role of aesthetic elements in environmental education,and explains the ecological turn of environmental aesthetic education in environmental education.In the second chapter,the author discusses the development of environment aesthetics that includes Hepburn's distinction between natural beauty and artistic beauty,Berleant's exploration of natural aesthetic appreciation,R.A.Smith and C.A.Smith's explanation about aesthetic qualities of nature.And the author analyzes Carlson's views about the knowledge type of environmental aesthetic education.The author explains deeply about the basic knowledge,the history of environmental creation,and other types of knowledge including myth,symbol and arts.This explanation is aimed to clear up effective ways to realize the goal of finding the maximum beauty that bases on the characteristics of diversity,integrity,living tendency and the accumulation of aesthetic experience.In the last,according to Berleant's points about the connection between environmental aesthetic education and educational aestheticization.the author analyzes the way it works of basic elements,which including the object of appreciation,creative perceptual behaviors,observers with the ability of appreciate and aesthetic experience.In the second part,the author explains the goal and theoretical direction of environmental aesthetic education.Firstly,the author points out the goal of environmental aesthetic education that directs to save the environmental crisis,and summarizes the impacts of environmental aesthetic education in the relationship between aesthetic perception,aesthetic taste,aesthetic attitude,aesthetic sense and cognition,and the goal of coordinating the ego and object.Then,the author explains two theoretical directions of environmental aesthetic education,that is,it summarizes the ecological paradigm reform of education and the formation of aesthetic environment.In the third part,the author summarizes the characteristics and significance of environmental aesthetic education.Firstly,the characteristics of environmental aesthetic education include theoretical transcendence,reality adaptability and development diversity.The significance of environmental aesthetic education includes the promote effect to education reformation that aims to adapt to the current spirit of the time.And it ensures the aesthetic welfare of public at the social level.Both of that have important meanings in deepening the consciousness of environment protection of public.In the conclusion,the author explains the development space of environmental aesthetic education due to its interdisciplinarity and diversification,and explains its applicability in different contexts.At the same time,the author responds to the questions about the systematization and influence range of environmental aesthetic education.These all affirm the theoretical and practical value of environmental aesthetic education.
