The Philosophical Method Of Treating Soul

As a special form of philosophical style,Plato's philosophical dialogue is not only a formal device of thought adapted to language,but also a philosophical writing and practice activity in a specific social and historical context,which means the possibility of rereading Plato's dialogue text from multiple perspectives.Based on the special form of dialogue in Plato's philosophical expression,this paper reinterprets Plato's "dialogue"theory from the perspective of pedagogy.In the aspect of text nature,we interpret Plato's dialogue text as teaching text.Plato's dialogue is pre textualized,which is the reorganization of the binary opposition form of the knowable world/visible world in the space-time structure of the text.Such a structure contains the educational intention of philosophy,so that readers can read the text and receive philosophical education naturally in the space-time structure of the text.In the aspect of social environment,we interpret Socrates' philosophical action and Plato's philosophical writing as educational activities.In the comparison of philosophy education and rhetoric education carried out by philosophers and sophist respectively,we find that Socratic dialogue action and Plato's dialogue writing are carried out in the Greek classical era.A new educational environment is born in the new era background.The Greek spiritual structure and knowledge structure need a kind of education about"human".At that time,the destruction of Greek youth's soul caused by the rhetoric education of the sophists brought great difficulties to the education of philosophers,so the key of philosophy education has been proved in the "passion" part of Greek soul and its structure.In the aspect of political philosophy,we interpret a series of literary elements in the philosophy of Socrates and Plato as a special strategy of philosophy education in a special social environment.Philosophers are still individual citizens in the Greek city-state,so their words and deeds are supervised by all citizens under the Athenian democracy.The theoretical difficulties of "soul turning" in philosophy and the practical difficulties of "dangerous" education in the city-state force the two philosophers to make different strategic choices in the dialogue with the young people in the city-state:Socrates' "elenchus" insists on talking with the young people Individuals in order to inspire them to pay attention to the inner life of a soul,while Plato indirectly faces the public in the way of writing a dialogue,and skillfully combines poetry and philosophy through the "noble lie" of metaphor and myth,so as to teach his abstract and difficult"Dialectic" philosophy to the Democratic city-state.In the aspect of contemporary value,we put Plato's dialogue theory into the modern dialogue theories to explore its contemporary value.Plato's theory of philosophical dialogue is an undifferentiated chaotic system,which is neither a dialogue genre nor a way of existence,but an idea of building a better society around a specific philosophy.Its contemporary value mainly lies in the enhancement of people's attention to ancient thought resources and humanistic traditions,which is manifested in two concrete forms:the philosophical treatment method of consoling the soul and the philosophical education method of cultivating generalists.Finally,we can see that Plato's Philosophical Expression in the form of dialogue style is a way of "doing" philosophy chosen under the comprehensive consideration of text form,Greek social environment and political philosophy strategy.Its core purpose is to treat the souls of young people in democratic city states through dialogue philosophy education.
