Studies On New Women Painting And Its Concepts In Republic Of China(1912-1937)

From 1912 to 1937,the new feminine painters in the period of the Republic of China embarked on a modern transformation.The emancipation of women's education rights and the construction of the artistic dissemination systems have led to more and more new women painters entering the public vision.The emergence of new women painter groups was one of the indelible highlights in the painting circle of the Republic of China.The new women painters paced out of their family,and got involved in the modern transformation,and remodeling of traditional Chinese painting with their own efforts and methods,which,at the same time,pushed forward the development of the new women painting in the Republic of China.This thesis takes the new women painting from 1912 to 1937 as the research object.The research content mainly includes the painting practice and artistic concepts of the new women painters in order to research on the Chinese and the Western painting creation of the new women painting.The first chapter discusses the formation of new women painting from the perspective of communication,sociology and education.This chapter focuses on the background of the rise of the new women painters,the investigation of women art education,and the ways of dissemination of the new women painting,trying to trace the source of new women painting by putting them in the historical context of the Republic of China.Chapters 2 to 4 conduct in-depth and systematic research on the creation of traditional Chinese and Western paintings,and the creativity of the new women painting,focusing on analyzing the artistic language and creation concepts of the new women painter,and the interpretation of how the new women painters have been reborn and developed in the collision of Chinese,Western arts,ideas,and concepts.Chapter 5 "Modern Thinking of the New Women Painting in the Republic of China" is a summary of the full text,and through a comparative research,the last chapter analyzes the artistic values and historical significance of the new women painting.
