Since the implementation of the national family planning policy,the widespread implementation of the one-child policy has made the number of only children increasing day by day.Since the development of family planning policy,the rapid growth of population has been restrained to a certain extent.At the same time,the occurrence of accidental accidents and all kinds of major diseases has also brought quite serious effects to the only child families,and the number of families who have lost their independence in Chinese society is increasing day by day.The government has gradually introduced various social policies to provide living allowances,medical supplies and old-age security for the elderly who have lost their independence,and the abundance of material assistance to some extent reflects the shortcomings of other aspects.As the pace of life accelerates and people's quality of life As a result,the mental and mental health needs of the elderly are becoming more and more prominent.After the loss of loss of their children,depression and sadness are prevalent in the emotional state of the elderly who have lost their independence,and social interaction is often self-closed,and participation in social activities is generally low,all of which deserve extensive reflection from the government,society and the public.How to help the elderly without independence to solve the mental health problems,out of the "pain of bereavement "?From the perspective of advantage theory,this paper uses case-by-case social work method to intervene in the families of the elderly who have lost their independence,and through a series of intervention measures to help them step by step out of the psychological predicament of losing children and maintain the order of personal daily life.The author selected 52 elderly people who lost their independence in 9 communities in Loumen Street of Suzhou as the object of this paper,and took the form of household interview,questionnaire survey and other forms to understand the basic situation of the individual and family of the elderly who lost their independence,through the SCL-90 scale to measure and evaluate the mental health indicators of the elderly who lost their independence,finally,selected H elderly as the survey Based on a targeted case intervention plan for the H elderly,a total of six cases of social work intervention were carried out,accompanied by multiple telephone visits,to help the victims actively tap their own and environmental advantages,help them solve their current psychological difficulties,improve their own ability to solve problems,step by step out of the "bereavement ",and enjoy their old age.
