Musical Analysis And Performing Analysis Of Rachmaninov's Musical Moment(OP.16)

Rachmaninov has an important position in the history of western music in the 20th century.His style is deeply influenced by Romanticism and Russian music.It is rich in national,singing and has its own unique tragic color.The "Six moments musicaux Op.16" were completed in the early stage of Rachmaninov's career,which marks that Rachmaninov's music creation reached a golden age of maturity and had its significance as a milestone.The author make a deep research on "Six moments musicaux Op.16".In this paper,firstly,the author expounded talk about Rachmaninov's life and main achievements.Then,the author made a deep study of the tragic colour in the composer's works and combined with my daily practice experience.Final,the concluded experience in order to help other performers do better in playing Rachmaninov's piano works.
