The Erhu Song "Autumn Rhyme" is a work created by Mr.Liu Wenjin in the 1980 s.The tunes are lingering and melodious,and the music is inspiring.The theme of Yangko minor in Shanxi Jinzhong area creatively integrates western composition techniques,which greatly enhances the appeal of erhu performance.The work is not difficult but the content is extremely rich,including a variety of musical changes,tones,speeds,additions and variations,etc.,not only retains a strong national flavor,but also shows its innovative side.This piece of music has greatly retained the national character of Erhu.It can be said that it has a national root and soul,and it also shows the temperament and quality of modern music.At the same time,Mr.Liu Wenjin's own creative ideas are also reflected in the work at multiple levels,providing a certain spiritual guidance for the interpretation of the work.This article discusses the exploration of cultural connotation and interpretation of performance techniques in the creation of Erhu's "Autumn Rhythm",and combines its own playing practice with the musical ideas,musical structure,and musical performance techniques that should be noted when playing this piece of music.It analyzes aspects and summarizes the influence of Liu Wenjin's creative ideas on the players' performance and learning process on the basis of this,with the aim of better carrying forward traditional culture and enhancing the cultural confidence of national instrumentalists.
