As an important dimension of analyzing personal growth and individual health, childhood experience is not only concerned by clinical psychologists, but also often a hot topic in public discussion.A large number of studies have found that emotional, personality and other mental disorders in adulthood are associated with childhood trauma. Both childhood trauma and adult life events belong to individual stressors, but they occur in different stages of individual development. Some foreign studies have found that there is a strong correlation between childhood trauma and adult life events, and that individuals with childhood trauma will have more negative life events in adulthood or suffer more negative effects in life events, but there are few domestic studies related to it.Therefore, this study takes adult groups over 18 years of age as the research object, trying to explore the relationship between childhood trauma and negative effects of adult life events, and analyze the mechanism of individual adaptation of childhood trauma from a cognitive perspective to verify the mediating effect of interpretation bias.At the same time, based on the theory of positive psychology, exploring the protective factors of individuals and exploring the regulatory role of optimism. The study used measurement tools including Childhood Trauma Questionnaire(CTQ-SF),Life Orientation Test Revised(LOT-R),Interpretation Bias Questionnaire(IBQ)and Life Event Scale(LES)for data acquisition. The study included 2 sample populations.Sample 1 was a group of mixed undergraduate and graduate students in a university in Suzhou, through the distribution of paper questionnaires for data collection,a total of 302 valid data were obtained;sample 2 was a non-student adult group from Suzhou and Fuzhou, and combined with paper and network questionnaires to collect data,a total of 202 data were obtained.Total sample is 504,of which 159 were male and 345 were female, aged 18-55(M=23.44,SD=6.03).SPSS22.0 and its plug-in PROCESS and AMOS22.0 software are used to analyze the data. The conclusions are as follows:(1)childhood trauma experience can significantly predict the negative impact of individual adult life events. That is,the more traumatic experience in childhood, the more obvious the negative interpretation bias, the less positive interpretation, the greater the negative impact on adult life events.(2)Trauma in childhood increases the degree of negative influence of individuals in life events by increasing negative explanations. When individuals face life events, they produce more negative thoughts and negative coping styles.(3)Optimism is a two-factor trait that includes optimism and pessimism.(4)Optimism-pessimism plays a moderating role between childhood trauma and negative effects of life events.Optimism helps individuals to get buffer in life events or stress, which is an important protective factor for individuals to adapt to the environment;pessimistic characteristics will further aggravate the negative emotional experience of individuals, hinder individual adaptation, and are the risk factors for individuals to cope with life events and psychological adjustment.(5)Optimism tends to regulate the negative effects of childhood trauma and life events more than pessimism,so we should pay more attention to the cultivation of individual optimism and other positive psychological qualities.
