Schumann and Brahms are outstanding German musicians in the 19 th century,and the representative figures in the musical era of the Romantic period,and the piano sets they created are the treasures of this period,which are unique products of the development of the same romantic period.In this great background,they come from the same country,by the same national culture,the German national music has the same love and pursuit.In view of the relationship between the two people,there are many resonances in the creative artistic characteristics and creative techniques.However,as far as they are concerned,there are also very different musical styles due to different family backgrounds,different levels of education,different emotional experiences and many other factors.This paper selects Schumann's "Fantasy Collection" Op.12 and Brahms' s "Fantasy Album" Op.116 as the research object,and studies and summarizes the commonality and individuality between the two works through the analysis of the creative technique skilled and playing techniques of the two works.The full text is divided into five chapters: the first chapter is divided into the basis of the topic,the purpose and significance of the study of this thesis,the current situation of research at home and abroad,research methods and innovations;This paper summarizes the artistic characteristics of the two composers,the third chapter is the analysis of the creative techniques of the two "Fantasy Collections",which is analyzed in detail from the creative techniques of composition,such as the structure of the melody,the rhythm and the rhythm and the harmonies,and the fourth chapter is the performance analysis of the two piano skits,mainly from the touch,rhythm,and the composition of the two piano skits.The performance techniques such as melodic tone processing and pedal use are analyzed,the fifth chapter is a comparative study of two piano skits,and the conclusion is a comparison and summary of the full text analysis.
