Analysis Of The Musical Style And Singing Skills Of The Aria "Coming To You"

Puccini is the most outstanding Italian opera composer in the 19 th century after Verdi.His opera is rich in emotions and sincere,and the melody is highly skilled.Even he himself is praised as the representative of authentic opera.Puccini's works are also widely appreciated by opera performers.His female characters are especially vivid,and many classical soprano arias have been handed down.The melody of Mimi's aria "Come to You" in "The Artist's Career" is mostly in the soprano exchange zone,which requires highly skilled singers.This classic track is also called "touchstone" of Lyric soprano.This paper chooses Mimi's classical aria "Come to You" in Puccini's classical work "The Artist's Career" as the research object,guided by the background and plot of the opera "The Artist's Career",and then gradually explores its musical structure,accompaniment texture and emotional connotation.After that,through the author's Experience and practice during the Graduation Concert elaborated the singing skills of the aria Come to You,including the combination of breath and sound,the key points of pronunciation,artistic expression and treatment.Summarizing the inherent law of soprano aria "Come to You",I hope that through this article,more vocal learners can understand some skills and requirements of soprano aria in Puccini Opera,so as to be more appealing in singing and better show the artistic charm of Puccini Opera.
