| Sharing behavior is an important form of prosocial behavior, and learning to share is of great value to the healthy development of children’s personality and sociality,so sharing behavior has always been the research focus of developmental psychologists. This study includes two experiments, using the dictator game paradigm to explore the effects of sociality mental modes and group identity on the sharing behavior of children aged 3-6 years. In experiment 1,a two-factor experimental design was adopted to initiate different sociality mental modes(market mode and communal mode)through money cues and human eye cues to explore the effects of different sociality mental modes on children’s sharing behavior between 3 and 6 years old.The results showed that sharing behavior was affected by sociality mental modes, the sharing behavior of children in the market mode group was significantly lower than that in the control group and communal mode group, but there was no significant difference between the communal mode group and the control group.Age affects sharing behavior, and sharing behavior of children aged 5-6 is significantly higher than that of children aged 3-4.In experiment 2,a two-factor mixed experimental design was adopted to explore the influence of sociality mental modes and group identity on children’s sharing behavior, and to investigate the sharing behavior of children with different group identities under the condition of sociality mental modes. The results showed that under the condition of inner group, there was no significant difference in sharing behavior among market mode, communal mode and control group, but under the condition of outer group, the sharing behavior of children in market mode group was significantly lower than that in control group and communal mode group.but there was no significant difference between the communal mode group and the control group. These results may show that sociality mental modes and group identity jointly affect children’s sharing behavior. When the sharing object is the member of the outside group, the market mode makes the children fall into the thinking of "market pricing",which causes the social communication to pay more attention to the benefits, thus reducing the sharing behavior;when the sharing object is the member of the inner group, the money effect under the market mode is weakened and the sharing behavior is increased. |
