A Study Of Tangut Wordbook "Gold Nuggets In The Palm"

In this paper,the calligraphy book "Gold Nuggets in the palm"(hereinafter referred to as "broken gold")in Tangut literature is selected as the research object.This document was written by Xiqiwenzhi,a native of Tangut.There are two kinds of writing books and writing paper.Tangut's "broken gold" is similar to the Chinese "thousand characters" calligraphy,the full text of a thousand words,the format of five words a sentence,two sentences for a joint.Although "broken gold" in Tangut is a calligraphy,its content is of great significance to the study of Tangut Culture.This paper is divided into three chapters:The first chapter is the transcription and translation of the text of broken gold,including the original Tangut text,onomatopoeia and free translation of Chinese.The second chapter is "broken gold" content analysis,a total of five sections.The first section(1-12 couplets): the main content is the world outlook,reflecting the world outlook of Tangut people,in addition to the contents used to record the time of the heavenly stems and earthly branches,seasonal solar terms and the changes of the four seasons;the second section(13-25 couplets): mainly reflecting the main ethnic party members and the establishment of political power in Tangut,as well as the content of social conditions and national governance;the third section(26-53 couplets): the main content is The 26-38 couplets mainly describe the names of the Tangut Fanzu,the 39-41 couplets mainly describe the Tangut tribe and its habits,and the 42-53 couplets list the surnames of the Han nationality.The fourth section(54-86,94-100): mainly describes the social situation of Tangut,which is divided into three parts: 54-63 mainly introduces the characteristics and forms of Tangut marriage system,64-86 mainly introduces the financial classification,chores and living habits.94-100 union mainly introduced the problems of Debt Loan,promotion,documents and so on.Section 5(87-93): the main content involves birds and animals,mainly including poultry,beasts and characteristics.The third chapter is divided into three sections,the first section is the version and value of the existing "broken gold" literature;the second section is the comparison between "broken gold" and "thousand characters" in Chinese;the third section discusses the universality,regional and value significance of "broken gold".In this paper,through the translation,interpretation and analysis of the Tangut characterbook "Gold Nuggets in the palm" unearthed in khara-khoto,the connotation and characteristics of the document are discussed,and the value and significance of the document are highlighted.
