Composition Contest” which is known as the "Pioneer of the Composition Contest" and "Language Olympics" in China.Coinciding with its start of the third decade,this research tries to treat the “‘New Concept' Composition Contest” as a whole to explore its producing background and development track in the past 20 years with a view to historical staging,and summarize the overall characteristics,then get a macro impression.On this basis,try to find out the characteristics of the “‘New Concept'Composition Contest” rematch propositions and the entries in different periods.And then explore the concepts advocated by the“‘New Concept' Composition Contest” with a view to clarify its value orientation in calm and objective contemplation.Hope to get realistic enlightenment in the deep-seated problems in composition teaching-that is,to get rid of public discourse and pseudo-discourse.The full text is divided into five chapters.Chapter one is about the background,historical stages and composition of the period of Seeking a Breakthrough(2014-present)has the following characteristics.First,the imagination still makes people surprise and the logical reasoning is profound.Second,language style goes with nature,and structural form is still innovated.Third,youth has adolescent rebellion and compromise,bright and wise.Fourth,attention to every corner of the era and the power of youth comes out of paper.Chapter four is about the value orientation of “‘New Concept' Composition Contest”.This part discusses the value orientation from three dimensions: focus on thinking,focus on expression,and focus on experience.Chapter five is about the enlightenment of composition teaching from the“‘New Concept' Composition Contest”.This part discusses the enlightenment
