Research On Hero Images In Novels Of Yan’an Period(1942-1948)

Heroism is an important value pursuit that runs through the history of Chinese literature and is a uninterrupted creative clue.The brutality of the National Liberation War has made heroic narratives the most vigorous narrative forms into Yanan ’s literature and art.After 1942,the extensive " hero model " campaigns for labor heroes and fighting heroes,etc,carried out in the anti-Japanese base centered on Yanan Promote the prosperity of this narrative form.After Mao Zedong’s " Speech at the Yan’an Literature and Art Symposium " was published,the role of " hero " became more and more obvious to the workers,peasants and soldiers.This heroic narrative also spread more widely and became the most important narrative form of the Yanan period It even had a profound influence on the literary creation in the following decades and now.This paper is mainly composed of the following five parts:The introductory part mainly combs the current research status of the " narration of heroes in the Yan’an period " in academic circles,and introduces the basic ideas of text research.The first part mainly summarizes the changing process of heroic narrative,briefly determines the concept of " hero ",sorts out the changing process of heroic narrative in the history of Chinese literature,and the realistic background of heroic narrative in Yanan period.The second part mainly studies the image construction in the heroic narrative in the Yan’an period.Combined with the materials,the hero image of the Yan’an period was discussed,the creation of the model worker’s image,the shaping of the fighting hero,and the reconstruction of the hero image of the intellectuals.The hero image and growth model were analyzed.The third part are to briefly explain the current status of the development of heroic narrative and explore its future development.To sort out the heroic narratives since the founding of the People’s Republic of China,analyze the fad of the hero images of model workers and intellectuals during the Yan’an period,and pay attention to the increasingly rich heroic connotations and hero images in the contemporary era.The conclusion part starts from Xi Jinping’s heroic feelings and the needs of the times,and explores the current direction of the survival and development of heroic narrative.To clarify that the heroic narratives generated during the Yan’an period have a distinct historical and realistic nature,but in the new period of rapid development,heroes are also needed to express our spiritual demands.Different social stages and the needs of the times have inspired different hero images.What has never changed is that we always need heroes.
