A Study Of Zhang Zhidong's Ancient Prose And Parallel Prose

As a representative of the Westernization school in the Qing Dynasty,Zhang Zhidong,one of the four famous officials in the late Qing Dynasty,not only had a profound impact on the process of China's modernization,but also had an important place in the history of ancient Chinese literature due to his outstanding achievements in poetry.Zhang Zhidong's achievements in literature mainly focus on his poetry creation,but in fact,Zhang Zhidong's ancient prose and parallel prose creation have also made remarkable achievements,which deserves our attention and research.This paper mainly studies Zhang Zhidong's ancient prose and parallel prose.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,the paper consists of four chapters.The introduction part mainly explains the research origin,research status and research object.The first chapter of the article mainly analyzes Zhang Zhidong's life,thought and creation.First of all,on the basis of a full understanding of his life,Zhang Zhidong's ancient prose and parallel prose creation are divided into two stages,i.e.the early stage and the late stage of his engagement in the Westernization,to sort out and analyze the relationship between Zhang Zhidong's ideological changes and the creation of chapters.The second chapter mainly discusses Zhang Zhidong's creation of ancient Chinese prose.This paper focuses on three main ideas: Zhang Zhidong's self-expression to Confucianism,the elucidation of the thought of practical use and the expression of the concept of academic articles.Under the guidance of the firm Confucian standard concept,the first section mainly studies the two images of Zhang Zhidong: the traditional Confucian gentleman's typical and the conservative Confucians and ministers who can communicate with China and the West;the second section mainly explains Zhang Zhidong's thought of practical application of the world from the practice of the world education and the development of the world thought;the third section mainly analyzes the interpretation of his ideas of classics and poetry,and To understand Zhang Zhidong's concept of academic articles.The third chapter mainly discusses Zhang Zhidong's parallel prose creation.Based on the full text,this paper mainly analyzes Zhang Zhidong's writing of the preface of longevity,the expression and the sacrifice.The artistic styles of the preface of his life,such as careful level,elegant breath,vigorous writing,vigorous momentum,short system of sacrifice and praising,are extracted respectively.Based on the analysis of the first three chapters,the fourth chapter mainly discusses the differences between Zhang Zhidong's ancient prose and parallel prose.Because of the different concepts of ancient prose and parallel prose,Zhang Zhidong's creation of ancient prose and parallel prose presents different styles.Specifically speaking,Zhang Zhidong's ancient prose writing mainly presents the characteristics of pragmatism,while his parallel prose writing mainly presents the elegant and mellow style.
