An Investigation Into Degree Category In Quanzhou Dialect

The thesis mainly concentrates on the study of the degree category and its main expressions in Quanzhou dialect.Referring to the academic research results on the connotation,nature and expression mode of the expression of degree category in modern Chinese,as well as the relevant contents of the study on degree category and its expression form in other dialects,on the basis of fieldwork,referring to the works,dictionaries and related papers of Min dialect,this paper classifies and summarizes the degree category and expression mode of Quanzhou dialect.First of all,on the basis of previous studies,this paper summarizes the Semantic Connotation,nature characteristics,system classification and expression form of the degree category of modern Chinese,and constructs the degree category form system of Quanzhou dialect in an all-round way.Secondly,it objectively describes the expression of degree category in Quanzhou dialect from three different levels: vocabulary,syntax and pronunciation.The vocabulary part mainly consists of state adjectives and fixed words.Among them,state adjectives are mainly reduplicated adjectives.Fixed words include four word case,idiom and some box phrases.The syntax part discusses the degree of reduplication,adverbial and complement.Reduplication includes adjective reduplication,such as AA,ABB,AABB and ABCC type,noun reduplication,such as AA,AABB type,and verb reduplication,such as ABB and AAB type.Degree adverbs are mainly used as degree adverbs,and degree complements can be divided into three types: combination,agglutination and "V+Gou(?)" structure.The pronunciation part mainly includes intonation and stress.Finally,it summarizes the characteristics of Quanzhou category degree category and its expression form.Firstly,summarizes the characteristics of Quanzhou category degree category and its expression form.The degree category of Quanzhou dialect is the same as that of other dialects,not only has the common character of the degree category of modern Chinese,but also has distinct characteristics.Secondly,this paper makes a cross linguistic study on the degree category of Quanzhou dialect.The cross language fact survey found that human language has certain commonness in the expression of degree category,which is mainly manifested as follows: degree adverbs are the main means to express degree category in most languages,and degree adverbs can be produced by adverbialization of nouns,verbs or adjectives,mainly adjectives.In addition,degree complements are another important means to show the magnitude of the degree category.There is a tendency that the "action result" in the verb resultative language is transformed into the component of degree,and the most common situation is that the "death" is transformed into the maximum degree.
