English writing is a very important language output skill in language teaching activities,and is often used as a comprehensive and important measure to measure students' comprehensive English ability.However,practice shows that English writing has always been a weak link in students' English learning,and there are still many problems in the teaching of English writing.This paper attempts to apply the framework theory to the teaching of English writing in senior elementary schools,and to help students construct the framework to improve their English writing level.Using the methods of literature research,questionnaire survey and experiment,this study conducted a one-semester teaching experiment on 74 students from two fifth-grade classes of Beijing Normal Olympic Garden Experimental Primary School from March to June in 2018.Among them,Class 2 is the experimental class,using frame theory to teach English writing,and Class 10 is the control class,using traditional English writing teaching methods.The purpose of this study is to verify the following hypotheses: firstly,the teaching of English writing to senior students in primary schools under the guidance of framework theory can improve the students' English writing level;secondly,the teaching of English writing to senior students in primary schools under the guidance of framework theory can stimulate the students' interest in English writing and improve their writing habits.Empirical research tools include questionnaires and writing tests before and after the experiment.The results of the pre-experiment test show that there is no significant difference in English writing ability between the two classes.After one semester's experiment,the data collected before and after the experiment are analyzed by independent sample t test and paired sample t test.The results show that after the teaching experiment,the students' English writing level in the experimental class is significantly higher than that in the control class.Based on the statistical analysis of the experimental data and the questionnaire data,this study draws the following conclusions: the writing teaching of senior English students in primary schools underthe guidance of frame theory can improve their English writing level;the writing teaching of senior English students under the guidance of frame theory can stimulate their interest in English writing and improve their writing.Habits.Therefore,the author puts forward some teaching suggestions for senior English writing teaching in primary schools from the perspectives of pre-teaching,teaching and post-teaching,in order to provide useful reference for the application of framework theory in senior English writing teaching in primary schools.
