Cuotaiji,an ancient opera of the Yi in Weining County,Guizhou Province,was selected into the National Intangible cultural Heritage list in 2006.Because Cuotaiji has fallen into a inheriting dilemma in the development of modern society,it is in urgent need of development and innovation.The article is based on Intangible cultural Heritage must be passed on by a living way.through field investigation and a lot of reading the previous research literature of Cuotaiji,and give us insight into the cultural implication of Cuotaiji,thinking in the present how to carry out reasonable visual innovation transformation and cultural brand shaping,To explore the methods of cultural creative design and artistic expression of the cultural implication of Cuotaiji.Analyze the feasibility of Cuotaiji cultural brand establishment and its cultural creative design ideas.The establishment and promotion of Cuotaiji cultural brand cannot be separated from cultural and creative design,The cultural and creative design should be carried out faithfully around the cultural connotation of Cuotaiji in terms of font,graphics and presentation forms,The author has made some attempts on the visual identification system design and related creative derivatives of The cultural brand of Cuotaiji,With the unadorned standard word as a symbol with different graphics for dynamic presentation,The graphics were presented by the techniques of printmaking,which were pure and childish,while the dynamic presentation made the performance of Cuotaiji vividly presented in front of the audience,Cultural and creative derivative products make Cuotaiji come into the life of modern people from ancient times and be accepted by the public,so as to better promote the cultural brand of Cuotaiji and generate economic value.
