Under the influence of the romantic music in the 19 th century,Brahms’ s creation style retained a strong classical classicism.Besides,his music dissociates between classic and romance,which interprets the "balance" between classic and romance.The good control of it makes people amazed.The most outstanding and fascinating features of his music style are "nationality" and "symphony".In this paper,it aims to study and explore the symphony in his piano works and how to make it embody in performance.The main contents of this paper are as follows:Firstly,it combs the creation background and the structure analysis of musical thought in Brahms’ “Rhapsody Op.79,no.1”for Piano.Based on the research and analysis of the creation methods of sound area,chord,rhythm,polyphony and counterpoint,melody and texture form in Brahms’ works,it makes the summary of the characteristics of his piano symphony.Secondly,it deeply analyzes the playing techniques that can highlight this creative feature through the symphonic characteristics of piano works in creation,which constructs the symphonic playing thinking,as well as explains techniques from the grasp of strength and speed,the way of touching keys,the application of pedals and the grasp of the overall musical image respectively.Finally,it obtains the conclusion.After carrying out the research and analysis of the creation and performance processing of the work,it is further affirmed that only by deeply understanding the symphony thinking of the work can it be more accurately expressed in the performance,so as to make the sound effect of the multi-part melody more full and unique.In this way,it can reflect the author’s creative intention as much as possible.
