We live in a society that takes the myth of romantic love as the only possible way to experience couples love.Due to an increasing and general feeling of frustration related to the mismatch between people's expectations and people's reality in the relationship scenario,the subject of love has become a topic of great relevance for many philosophers and sociologist of our times.This is fueled by an increasing interest in an overall pursue for a better lifestyle quality which is focused on healthy behavior and relationships.In the last past half century different alternative methodologies have been put into practice in order to help individuals improve the quality of their lives from a psychological and emotional perspective.This research studies art's healing quality through the analysis of the different methods used in art therapy and psychomagic.By combining these two approaches the author aims to create a new self-healing methodology that can help her rebuild the concept of romantic love from an unconscious level in order to change her current beliefs and in this way change her reality.This thesis is based on a one case study of the creation and application of this methodology through which the author will create a series of works of art that with qualities that aspire to change the concept of romantic love on an individual and a cultural level.Being this one a one case study,this research's intention is to bring a new possibility of healing through the use of art while at the same time expects that this self-healing methodology can be used in future occasions by other individuals in order to work on other spiritual and emotional concerns.
