The Research On Preservation Status And Protection Countermeasures Of Stone Towers In Yiyang

Since the Ming and Qing Dynasties,the construction of stone towers has been increasing.Because the main building material of stone towers is stone,the stability of stone towers is better than that of culture relic buildings of other materials,so the number of stone towers retained so far is more than that of ancient towers of other materials.As an important prefecture-level city in Hunan Province,a large number of stone towers have been preserved in Yiyang.For the purpose of protecting Yiyang stone towers,this study has made a comprehensive understanding of the status quo of the conservation of Yiyang stone towers through literature review,field investigation,experimental detection and analysis,and at the same time,the following is the next step.One-step protection and utilization of the proposed countermeasures.Field survey shows that there are 9 stone towers in Yiyang(1 masonry mixing tower),were found to be generally divided into "two kinds of materials,three types of environment",The two materials are granite and limestone.The three environments are located in the water,beside the water and on the top of the mountain;the construction features are "odd layers,even edges";the structural form is "hollow,solid";the hollow is divided into "ladder,ladder-free" two kinds of buildings;The ladders are all "folded up in the wall".The main problems faced by stone towers are the widespread diseases such as plant growth and weathering of stone surface;the falling of individual stone tower building components;a few stone towers suffered from natural disasters;the neglect of management of some stone towers and the overgrowth of weeds around them;and the open utilization of stone towers is not optimistic.Aiming at various problems existing in Yiyang stone tower,this paper puts forward some protection countermeasures and suggestions,such as preparation of protection and utilization planning,environmental renovation and disaster prevention,maintenance and reinforcement of cultural relics,establishment of monitoring system,further opening up and utilization,strengthening of daily management and strengthening of publicity and research,in the hope of providing some ideas for the protection of Yiyang stone tower,and also for the protection of similar stone immovable cultural relics in China.For reference and reference.
