Humanistic Buddhism is so called compared to traditional Buddhism.It’s deemed in the traditional Buddhism that real life is an abyss of misery and people should convert to western paradise.Thus,most of the target audiences of traditional Buddhism are monks cultivating themselves according to religious doctrine in the mountain.However,Humanistic Buddhism emphasizes the human nature of Buddhism,namely not regarding western paradise as the pursuit by strengthening human morality to increase happiness in the real life which can be regarded as the Copernican revolution in the Buddhism.In this paper,the discussion is conducted based on the background and existence meaning of Humanistic Buddhism;Grand Master Hsing Yun’s Humanistic Buddhism highlights human nature of Humanistic Buddhism’s value pursuit in comparison to traditional Buddhism in terms of the difference in cultural property,containment,compatibility,and taboo;And then morality,family view,religious view,political view and cosmology of Humanistic Buddhism thought are deeply analyzed which highlights human nature of Humanistic Buddhism in the aspect of concern.Finally,human nature concerns and innovation regarding Grand Master Hsing Yun’s Humanistic Buddhism Buddhist alms are analyzed to highlight the universality of Humanistic Buddhism audiences.Based on the above-mentioned three highlights,the human character of Humanistic Buddhism reappearing is thoroughly uncovered.Of course,Humanistic Buddhism isn’t perfect,so influence and evaluation of Grand Master Hsing Yun’s Humanistic Buddhism are subject to trial theoretical review in this paper.
