Xi Jinping's Research On The Inheritance And Development Of Mao Zedong's Literary And Artistic Thought

In recent years,Xi Jinping has made many speeches on literary and artistic work and put forward many many valuable constructive opinions.At present,the development of socialist literature and art is at a critical stage,comparing Mao Zedong's literary thoughts and Xi Jinping's important expositions on literature and art,analyzing its inheritance and development points,exploring the essence of their literary thoughts,which has important guiding significance for development of literature and art.This research is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is an introduction,which introduces the reasons,significance,current situation,methods and innovations of the study.The second chapter expounds the basic outline of Mao Zedong's literary thought,including three aspects: theoretical source,background of formation and development,main content.The third chapter is Xi Jinping's inheritance of Mao Zedong's literary thoughts.It discusses five aspects: adhering to the guiding ideology of Marxism,the Party's leadership in literary and artistic work,serving the people,respecting the law of literary and artistic development,inheriting and drawing lessons from them,and studies the main line of their literary and artistic thought,and explores the commonalities.The fourth chapter discusses Xi Jinping's development of Mao Zedong's literary and artistic thought from six aspects: the characteristics of the development of the times,the interpretation of the people's groups,the criteria for judging and appreciating,the values of creation and the requirements of literary and artistic workers,and probes into the development and innovation of the latter to the former in the light of the development of the times and the needs of the people.The fifth chapter expounds the significance and value of Xi Jinping's important expositions on literature and art.It discusses four aspects:forming theoretical results,indicating the direction of development,highlighting the role of literature and art in cultural construction,and promoting the prosperity of art in the market.The two literary symposiums,which have been in the past 72 years,have occurredunder different historical conditions,but they all show that the two leaders attach importance to and profoundly understand the literary and artistic work.Their literary and artistic thoughts are both in the same line and advancing with the times.Culture includes literature and art,and literature and art express culture.Through the comparative study of the two literary thoughts,summing up the essence of their literary and artistic thoughts is not only valuable for the enrichment and development of Chinese Marxist theory of literature and art,but also of practical significance for the socialist literary and artistic undertakings and China's "cultural power" construction strategy.
