| Content "Repetition" is the philosophical category proposed by Kierkegaard in his masterpiece "Repetiton",and the relevant thought fragments can also be seen in his diary and in the works of Philosophical Fragments,Fear and Thriller. The category of "repetition" can be traced back to the "recall" of ancient Greek philosophy, but also can be seen in modern philosophy and even post-modern philosophy, which has been interpreted by philosophers such as Nietzsche,Benjamin and Dretz from different perspectives. From the position of existentialism,Kierkegaard thinks that "repetition" is a kind of individual survival philosophy, which has the characters of becoming, practice and the future direction. In other words,as the key link in "repetition","moment" is highlighted, and the interpretation of it reveals the unique view of time, truth and history of him. This thesis takes the "repetition" as the research object, starting with the thought origin of "repetition",multiple connotations and the truth and historical view which are inseparable from the unique view of time, and tries to present this core category of Kierkegaard in a complete and clear manner. In addition to the introduction, this thesis mainly consists of three parts:The first part focuses on the ideological origin of the category of "repetition".Kierkegaard’ thought is very complex,he not only absorbed the nutrients of ancient Greek philosophy and Hegel philosophy, but also by the influence of Christian theological thought.Among them, the philosophical origin mainly includes Socrates’ s satirical thought,Plato’s "recall",Aristotle’s view of movement and potential,Leibniz’s "single theory" and its "predetermined harmony" theory,Hegel’s becoming thought, the religious origin is mainly includes the Hober’s suffering and Abrahamic sacrifice. The second part focuses on the multiple connotations of the category of "repetition",which is analyzed and explained from the three levels of philosophical dimension, individual survival dimension and religious dimension. As a philosophical category,"Repetition" cannot be verified,it rejects the kind of repetitive movement pointing to the outside, which means that "repetition" is an internal movement of the individual and can only be achieved in the field of existence. For individuals, the "repetition" movement is essentially the movement of the inner self, and the self achievesself-confirmation,unity and renewal in "repetition"."Repetition" as a religious doctrine is not only one of the principles of God’s creation, but also a requirement for "true Christian".The third part focuses on the key link of "repetition"-"moment",and the view of time, truth and history refracted by it.In Kierkegaard’ thought, time is still linear, but not eternal. It’s beginning is marked by the "moment" and intersect with eternality at the "moments".History is no longer a natural record of the passage of time, but composed of "moments" in the survival of the individual connected with eternality. At this point, the truth that Kierkegaard pursuing is no longer the idea, which is prior and outside of human existence, but a state of truth that is generated by the present, including the eternity that the individual touches in the becoming movement-repetition-and the ability and condition sought by the faith to touch eternity, which implies a possibility to point to the future. The "repetition" pointing to the future and the "moment" liberating "history" from "necessity" constitute the future philosophy of Kierkegaard, which links human existence with "time" and "eternity" and "becoming" with "history" and "eternity".In the limited existence, the individual grasps the eternal truth in the specific time, and always in the tension of finite and infinite, the reality and the eternal. |
