Study On Heroic Myths,Legends And Beliefs In Southeast Shanxi

There are many myths and legends of heroes in Southeast Shanxi.Numerous heroic myths about Nuwa,Yandi,Houyi,Jingwei,Yugong and Danzhu coexist on Shangdang area and form the myth group of heroes in Southeastern Shanxi.These myths have shaped many heroic images of saving the people,and have recorded many heroic behaviors and reflected heroism.Myths and legends of heroes in southeast Shanxi which illuminates the evolution of Chinese civilization,is a fusion of common national spirit and unique regional cultures.The text consists of five chapters.The introduction is mainly dicussed from four parts: the topic and significance of the research,the review of domestic research of myth,hero myth and hero myth in Southeast Shanxi,the data sources and research methods,the definition of related concepts.The first chapter discusses the theme of the myth of the heroes in Southeast Shanxi.Disaster and resistance are important propositions of the research,is a record of the development of human civilization.In the hard breakout for survival,heroes who are symbol of salvation and hope,lead the people to resist disasters and rebuild their homes,show a tenacious spirit of resistance and an unyielding will to life.The second chapter analyzes the aesthetic meaning of hero myth in Southeast Shanxi,which contains tension beauty,sublime beauty and ecological beauty.The third chapter explains the interaction between myth,belief and local society.Mythical heroes become local gods through localization,legalization,and secularization,and infiltrate people's lives.The fourth chapter expounds the contemporary reconstruction of the myths and legends of heroes in Southeastern Shanxi.Through the cultural landscape culture,art festival and other forms,the ancient hero mythhave been given new significance,and effectively integrated into contemporary society.This paper takes the Nuwa,Yandi,Houyi,Jingwei,Yugong and Danzhu as the main research objects,and uses textual documents and living documents to interpret the mythological group of the heroes in Southeast Shanxi,which is a song of life composed by the people in the contradiction between natural ecology and survival difficulties.Those heroes who fight against the sky,lead the light,or reshape the order are the owners of lofty ideals and great personalities.Studying the myths of the heroes in Southeastern Shanxi is beneficial to digging people's cultural psychology and historical memory,and inheriting excellent traditional culture and national spirit.
