Chinese lacquer art has been developing for more than 8,000 years.As early as the Han Dynasty,embossed lacquer firstly appears as the most fundamental lacquering artistry.The old skill requires inheritance and development while developing art must to follow their own rules.Embossed lacquer skill is exact the way to extend lacquer artistry and to promote lacquering development through inheriting and evolving it.This thesis aims to find some unique graphic effects by utilizing embossed lacquer skills,gain deep understandings by combing historical context through the graduation design project.In addition to this,look forward to enhancing methods and visual effects of embossed lacquer by combining modern lacquer painting trend with real practices.Compare diverse materials with different languages and,thereby,serve the future art creation.
