The Romance of the Three Kingdoms is a treasure in Chinese art and liter ature,which has had a broad and profound influence on the spiritual and cultu ral life of the Chinese nation in the long-standing historical memory.By syste matically sorting out the cultural transmission process of The Romance of the Three Kingdoms,summarizing the rules of the formation of its cultural field,an d exploring the industrialization development path of this Chinese classics' cult ural resources,one can inherit its excellence and greatness in the new era,giv e it a new vitality,and consequently strive to help outstanding traditional cultu ral resources "going out" to achieve successful cross-cultural communication.This thesis mainly includes the following four aspects:The first part elaborates its cultural communication process and the formati on of its cultural field.By analyzing its cultural communication processes of te xt communication,oral communication,printed communication,electronic comm unication and network communication,it can be indicated that The Romance of the Three Kingdoms has formed a unique cultural field step by step in its ch anging medium and the expanding of its audience.By exploring its communica tion law in time and space both from synchronic and diachronic perspectives,t he necessity and importance of its industrialization development can be proved for The Romance of the Three Kingdoms.The second part analyzes the core elements of the industrialization of The Romance of the Three Kingdoms.Based on the diversity and acceptability of its text value,this thesis explores its foundation of creative adaptation from the three aspects: the richness of the theme of expression,the ingenuity of narrati ve art,and the aestheticity of characters designing.It was founded that the intr icate historical background,the thread-crossed storyline,and the heroic characte rs with distinctive personality provide a rich three-dimensional space for the de velopment of its industrialization.The third part summarizes its current status of the cultural industrialization of The Romance of the Three Kingdoms from four aspects: the expansion of i ts book publishing industry,the gradual maturity of its film and television adap tation industry,the continuous exploration of its animation and game industry,and the coordinated development of its cultural tourism industry.At the same time,such imperfections as the dissolution of connotation under consumerism i n the wave of industrialization,the solutions to different needs of its audience and the cross-cultural communication difficulties under both the cultural barriers and the Media advantage have also paid attention to.The fourth part explores the future development path of the cultural indust rialization of The Romance of the Three Kingdoms and proposes solutions to th e above-mentioned imperfections.In the production of its contents,the high-qu ality adaptation that conforms to the aesthetic tendencies of the times could be carried out on the premise of obeying the original;creating a media platform is of great necessity to accelerate media integration in order to achieve multif aceted and full coverage of the audience;and forging a good cross-cultural dis course,improving a good cross-cultural communication brand,and telling a goo d Chinese story are equally of great significance.By summarizing the laws of the cultural transmission of the Romance of The Romance of the Three Kingdoms and exploring its industrialization develop ment path,this thesis provides a viable path for revitalizing the excellent tradit ional culture of the Chinese nation and its "going out" strategy.
