Research On Design Of Guidance System In Children's Hospital Under The Concept Of Interaction Design

As the number of children grows and more attention paid to the group in the entire society,children's health has become an important social issue.Demand for quantity as well as quality for children's hospitals is increasing.Since the establishment of order is a significant element of a hospital,guidance system is the key to determine the hospital's operating efficiency and it also plays an important role in patients' medical experience.Children's hospitals face a special group,which includes not only adults such as accompanying parents and medical staff,but also children who are not yet psychologically and physically mature enough.Therefore,attention and guidance for children are essential in children's hospitals.Interaction design is an interdisciplinary subject that combines traditional design theory,engineering and usability research methods.It focuses not only on appearance and function,but also behaviors that are not easily observed and understood.The ultimate goal of interaction design is to better cater to the needs of users.This thesis takes children's hospital guidance system as a research object,and studies how interactive design concept applies to the guidance system design and ultimately forms a "human-product-environment" interaction system.This research tries to systematize the interaction design of the guidance system by combining its concepts,methods and means.The points of innovation in the research are to extend the design concept of the guidance system for children's hospital,to reform the design concept of guidance system,and finally to provide new ideas for guidance system design.The thesis is divided into five parts.The first part states the research content and methods.It starts with the background of children's hospital and elaborates its rapid development.Then it illustrates the importance of optimizing current guidance system in children's hospitals and introduce the concept of interactive design.The second part analyzes the relevant theories of guidance system and interaction design.Through interpretation of the essence of interaction design,it discovers the correlation between interaction design and guidance system design.It also illustrates the advantages of applying interaction design concept on guidance system design.The third part studies the guidance system of children's hospitals,summarizes hospital guidance system's level and composition,as well as introducing the user groups of the guidance system.It points out the existing specific problems of the guidance system of children's hospitals in China,analyzes international excellent cases,and provides theoretical and practical references for the following study.The fourth part is the method research of applying interactive design concept to the guidance system of children's hospital.Based on previous research,design goals,design strategies,and design contents of the children's hospital guide system under the interactive design concept are proposed in this part.Last but not least,based on the investigation on the actual situation of Beijing Children's Hospital,the fifth part uses the design method proposed by this research to optimize its guide system design.
