| The mental health of postgraduates has always been a hot issue concerned by universities,teachers and students.Based on the theory of Positive Psychology,this paper discusses the current situation and influencing factors of the mental health of postgraduates,mainly using the method of literature and interview,interviewing 41 postgraduates and surveying 31 postgraduates by open-ended questionnaire,based on the results of interview and open-ended questionnaire,119 items of initial measurement were formed.A total of 399 graduate students were tested with the initial questionnaire,and the data were analyzed by item analysis and exploratory factor analysis.A total of 621 graduate students were tested with the formal scale,and the collected data were tested by structure verification,reliability and validity analysis.The self-designed questionnaire,W-E happiness scale and young students self-worth scale were used to survey 1100 postgraduates in China,to analyze the mental health status of postgraduates and its influencing factors.Through exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis,we found: Through exploratory and confirmatory factors,we found that the mental health scale for postgraduates includes three sub-questionnaires:Emotional experience,personality quality and social support.The emotional experience scale includes three factors: ontological emotional experience,operational emotional experience and life satisfaction The personality quality sub-questionnaire includes three factors: self-knowledge and attitude,interpersonal communication and social attitude,self-realization and transcendence,and social support sub-questionnaire includes three factors:teacher-student relationship,parent relationship and social relationship.The factor model of the three sub-questionnaires is clear and stable,and the reliability and validity meet the psychometrics requirements.The mental health scale for postgraduates can be used as a scientific research.At present,the overall level of postgraduates’ mental health is basically good,and the professional category will affect the overall level of postgraduates’ mental health;The overall emotional experience of graduate students was influenced by gender,grade and professional category,while the psychological quality and social support were only influenced by professional category;Ontological emotional experience,interpersonal attitude and social competence,self-actualization and transcendence,teacher-student relationship and family relationship are only affected by professional category factors,operational emotional experience,self-knowledge,attitude and social relations were affected by gender and professional category,while life satisfaction was related to gender,grade and professional category;Most postgraduates can adopt positive attitude and methods to deal withpsychological problems,and there is a significant positive correlation between their mental health and their self-worth,which has a significant predictive effect on the latter,it shows that the physical and mental health of postgraduates is closely related to their own sense of self-worth. |
