Music Features And Singing Analysis Of Schumann Art Song "Walnut Tree"

Robert Schumann was a German composer,pianist,and music critic in the early romanticism of the first half of the 19 th century.He created a large number of art songs in his lifetime.This paper selects the widely sung walnut tree from shuman's song collection myrtle as the research object to analyze its musical characteristics and discuss its singing.Walnut tree is one of the most representative songs in this vocal cycle,and also the most widely sung art song works.This work is very representative of schumann's pursuit of poetic romance,inner passion,passionate artistic feeling and creative style.This paper mainly explores from the following aspects: first,to understand the composer's life and major musical achievements.Schumann's musical achievements include music creation and music criticism.His music creation involves piano,vocal music,chamber music,symphony and other fields.Then the song collection "myrtle" the creation of the background and content of a brief overview.Secondly,this paper analyzes the musical characteristics of the walnut tree from the aspects of lyrics,musical melody and piano accompaniment.The lyrics of the walnut tree are selected from the poems of the poet mohsen,and the lyrics are literary and musical.Its music melody is relatively stable,the interval span is not big,the whole song is mainly the attached point rhythm;The emotional tone reflected by the fixed accompaniment timbre in the walnut tree enriches the emotional color and coordinates with the melody part to jointly express the character image and the composer's ideological intention.Finally,from the perspective of breath,bite and emotional expression,the singing of "walnut tree" was analyzed and studied.When singing this art song,the breath should be controlled well,the upper and lower teeth should be opened,the soft palate should be lifted,the tongue and jaw should be relaxed naturally,and the larynx should be lowered.When singing the bass area,the chest should be more resonant.Then,the singer should fully understand the pronunciation characteristics and rules of German,and the pronunciation characteristics of some common sounds in German,such as vowels,middle vowels,consonants and laryngeal r,to ensure the purity and rigor of the song language.When the singer sings the walnut tree,he should sing with rich and full emotions to fully express schumann's longing for love and yearning,as well as the expectation of a happy life.Through the analysis of the music style and the exploration of singing in the aspects ofmelody,lyrics and piano accompaniment of the walnut tree,the author hopes to provide some help to the singers and scholars who study schumann's art songs,so as to better interpret the work and accurately express the central idea and emotion of the work.
