With the continuous improvement of China's national strength,the number of overseas students learning Chinese is increasing.In order to promote the development of teaching Chinese as a second language and help foreign students to learn Chinese better,it is necessary to analyze the errors in their acquisition of Chinese and put forward effective countermeasures.In modern Chinese,the sentence "Gei" plays an important role and is also one of the most important and difficult points in TCSL.We summarize ten kinds of "Gei" sentences from the series of "HSK standard course".and with the help of BCC "HSK dynamic composition corpus",we collect the "Gei" sentence corpus of foreign students from five countries,including the United Kingdom,the United States,Canada,Australia and the Philippines.Under the guidance of the second language acquisition theory,we conducted a systematic data analysis on these "gei" sentence corpora by using inductive statistics,bias analysis,comparative analysis and other research methods,and found out the acquisition bias of different "gei" sentences of foreign students with English speaking background.There are six parts in this paper.The first part is the introduction,including the reason and significance of the topic,and summarizes the current situation of scholars' research on "Gei" sentence from the ontology research of "Gei" sentence in modern Chinese,the acquisition and error research of "Gei" sentence in TCSL.At the same time,we determine that the "Gei" is a preposition in the structure of "V+Gei",and carry out the pattern of sentence "Gei",and determine the source of the corpus,the scope of research and research methods.In the second part,we integrate the research of scholars and explore the relationship between different "Gei" sentences in this paper,including the semantic features and the relationship between sentence patterns.There are various connections or extensions between the sentence patterns of "Gei",including the structure of "De",the enhancement of "V+Gei" structure by adding verbs,the transformation of the syntactic function of "N2",and the displacement of "giving".At the same time,We also sorted out the extension of the sentence pattern of "Gei".In the third part,we use the "correct use frequency method" and "correct use of relative frequency method" to sort out the order of foreign students' acquisition of several "Gei" sentences and determine the order of foreign students' acquisition of different "Gei" sentences.Then,we use the theory of error analysis to analyze the error corpus of different "Gei" sentences.In the fourth part,based on the theory of error analysis,we explore the source of the errors in the acquisition of "Gei" sentences by foreign students.We find that the reasons for the errors mainly include the negative transfer of English mother tongue,the generalization of target language knowledge,the improper arrangement of teaching materials,the influence of students' own factors and the influence of teachers.In the fifth part,we put forward some corresponding teaching strategies aiming at the reasons for the errors in the acquisition of "Gei" sentences by foreign students,such as strengthening the comparative analysis between Chinese and English to promote thepositive transfer of mother tongue;Deepen the study of Chinese noumenon and intensify the comparative learning and training between similar sentence patterns;Optimize the arrangement of teaching materials and improve the compilation of teaching materials;The teaching sequence follows students' acquisition rules;And adopt schema theory and other diversified teaching methods.It is hoped that it can help foreign students to acquire different "Gei" sentences better and provide important reference for the teaching Chinese as a second language.The sixth part is a summary of the whole paper,which makes a brief explanation on the viewpoints and shortcomings of this paper.
