Western Elements And Local Originality In Contemporary Chinese Landscape Photography

Photography art originated from the West,for contemporary Chinese landscape photography,one of the most basic facts that can not be avoided is the influence of Western photography art.Learning from the West and drawing lessons from creative ideas and methods is one of the indispensable elements of Chinese photographers' creation.From the development history of contemporary photography in China for more than 30 years,contemporary landscape photography in China is developing in constant exploration.In the process of development,it also combines elements of Chinese local culture,and tries to build its own modernity on the basis of its own cultural tradition.In view of the current situation of the development of contemporary landscape photography in China,this paper makes a comprehensive and systematic analysis of the elements corresponding to the imitation and reference of Western photography art in contemporary Chinese landscape photography,and constructs the local characteristics in the context of Chinese social and cultural background.It points out dialectically that Chinese landscape photography needs to integrate the Western photography elements with the local characteristics of China in the contemporary context,and to meet its needs.The significance and value existing in contemporary photography art are considered theoretically in this paper.Firstly,this paper discusses the traditional sense of landscape photography,which records the natural scenery in a way of observing the world and nature.Secondly,it analyses that when Chinese landscape photography enters the contemporary context,more pluralistic changes have taken place in emotional concepts,shooting perspectives and forms of expression.The Western elements of Chinese landscape photography in the contemporary context are obvious and specific.Combining with the typical Chinese and Western photographers and their works,this paper makes a thorough analysis from the aspects of style,image and technology,and makes a comparative study of the corresponding relationship among them.In contemporary Chinese landscape photography,in addition to drawing lessons from and imitating western elements,some photographers also try to find opportunities in their own cultural traditions to find a breakthrough in photographic art.This paper,combining with the current social and cultural background of China,analyses the local characteristics of contemporary Chinese landscape photography from the aspects of expression and emotional concepts.For Chinese contemporary landscape photography,which draws on Western elements and combines local characteristics,this paper finds out the existence of problems in the context of globalization,and theoretically thinks about the more diverse development possibilities in the future.
