The Use Of “Thread Material” In Comprehensive Material Painting

Material is the living carrier of art works.It is the way of existence between tradition and modernity or substance and spirit.The status of traditional painting materials in modern painting is no longer tools,but a language of materials.This re-recognition and application of materials has brought about tremendous changes in traditional artistic concepts.This change has gradually opened up the field of comprehensive materials art.The development of modern science and technology promotes the material to present complex and diverse features,which requires artists to fully understand the characteristics of each material and their rendering effects before formal creation.According to this,whether materials can be perfectly used in the painting practice and express feelings is worthy of our study.This article takes "the use of ‘thread material' in comprehensive material painting" as the theme.First,it studies the development status of comprehensive materials art,explains the research purpose and significance and advances theoretical innovation based on practice.Second,it clarifies the meaning of "composite materials",discusses the transformation process of painting materials to material art from three aspects: "the use of multiple materials,the expression of multiple methods and the production of artistic concepts." The aesthetic characteristics of comprehensive materials are expounded from two aspects: material characteristics and time characteristics.Through personal painting practice,digging the "personality" of thread materials and looking for new ways to perfectly combine materials andemotions,drawing corresponding conclusions to benefit the development of comprehensive material art.
