Zheng Xuan is a well-known master of Confucian classics in the Eastern Han Dynasty.He devoted himself to the “Qun Scriptures”,exerting the deepest force on the “three rites”,and played a leading role in the study of exegetics for later generations.His achievements can be compared with Xu Shen,providing important reference and reference for later generations to understand ancient languages.This article takes the polysyllabic word Zheng Xuan in Yili as the research object,combs and analyzes the characteristics of polysyllabic words and the meaning of the polysyllabic words revealed,and summarizes Zheng Xuan's achievements in vocabulary and dictionary interpretation.And value.The full text is divided into six parts:The first part is introduction.This paper briefly describes the research object,research methods,topics and research significance,and summarizes the research on polysyllabic words in Yili note and Zhengxuan note.In the second part,Zheng Xuan noted the polysyllabic words of “Miriam”.Drawing on previous research results,this article expounds the criteria for judging polysyllabic words.These polysyllabic words are classified according to the category they belong to.The third part is an overview of Zheng Xuan's polysyllabic words.From three angles of interpretation content,interpretation method and interpretation style,its interpretation is described in detail.The fourth part is the research on the relationship between the meaning of Zheng Xuan and its meaning in Yili.From the perspective of cognitive linguistics,this article analyzes Zheng Xuan's categorization of word meanings,generalization of word meanings,word representations,and features of word meanings.Analyze Zheng Xuan's understanding of unisex and polysemes,rational and irrational meanings,central and restrictive morphemes,linguistic and semantic meanings,linguistic and cultural meanings from a synchronic perspective;analyze Zheng Xuan's original meanings from a diachronic perspective,Extended meaning and deep hidden meaning.By comprehensively examining Zheng Xuan's revelation of the meaning of the word from diachronic andsynchronic,superficial and deep perspectives,we can see that Zheng Xuan revealed the multi-level and Multi-faceted characteristics of the meaning of the polysyllabic words in Yili.The fifth part is the research on the correlation between the Chinese and English dictionary words of Yili.This paper examines the interpretation of Zhengyin's polysyllabic words from four aspects: inter-word relations,part-of-speech,paraphrasing concerns,and sources of polysyllabic words.The sixth part is the conclusion.Summarize the paper research and point out the shortcomings in the paper.
