Confucianism was the official philosophy of the Ming rulers.Courtiers,the representative of scholar-officials who were deeply influenced by Confucian traditional moral values,gradually formed an atmosphere of supporting the government centered on "upholding Confucianism",namely "integrity and Morality" and "supporting and fostering the prince's morality".The atmosphere of "upholding Confucianism" and assisted the government in the cabinet is reflected by the thoughts and behaviors of the cabinet ministers,whose development and change are influenced by the imperial power,the cabinet system and the personal qualities of the cabinet ministers.In particular,the restraint and guidance of the feudal monarch had a great influence on whether the cabinet adhered to "upholding Confucianism" in the process of subsidiary administration.This paper focuses on the cabinet in the period from chenghua to zhengde,With the courtiers at this stage as the main line,highlighting whether the "Confucian" culture of supporting government in the cabinet is strictly abide by or inclined,With the courtiers at this stage as the main line,highlighting the "upholding Confucianism" atmosphere of supporting government in the cabinet is strictly abide by or inclined,and further illustrates that the "upholding Confucianism" atmosphere of assisting the government has its own initiative since its formation.While it is affected by factors such as imperial power,it will in turn have an impact on these factors such as imperial power,government administration and government style.
