With the establishment of the Confucius Institute and the development of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,the number of people learning Chinese in Spain has increased in recent years,and the demand for learning has also increased.At present,the number of people learning Chinese in Spain has exceeded 50,000.However,the teaching research for Spanish students has just begun,and a systematic Chinese teaching system for Spain has not yet been formed.Spanish students have their own cultural characteristics in Chinese learning and classroom performance,but classroom studies for Spanish learners are not sufficient.Therefore,Chinese classroom studies for Spanish students have important value and significance.Studying the learning anxiety of Spanish Chinese learners can help us better understand the Chinese classroom situation in Spain,and grasp the characteristics of student anxiety,so that we can conduct more targeted teaching according to the learning characteristics of Spanish Chinese learners,and improve the efficiency and quality of Chinese classrooms.In this paper,57 Chinese learners from the four campuses of the Confucius Institute at the University of Castilla-la Mancha,Spain,were investigated,and the questionnaire was designedbased on the Horwitz's Foreign Language Classroom Anxiety Scale(FLCAS).This paper uses SPSS software for data statistics,and then analyzes Spanish students' learning anxiety in Chinese classroom based on the cultural dimension.The survey results showed that the overall anxiety level of Spanish students was not high,but they had obvious anxiety in examinations.Afterwards,this paper analyzes the causes of learning anxiety of Spanish Chinese learners from six dimensions:individualism versus collectivism;power distance;masculinity versus feminization;uncertainty avoidance index;long vs short term orientationand indulgent or restrained.This paper also uses personal interviews to gain a deeper understanding of students' internal learning psychology,and to reflect on and summarize teaching.Finally,from the perspective of teachers and students,put forward strategies to alleviate learning anxiety.On the one hand,teachers can better understand the learning characteristics of students in this country,so that they can formulate more targeted teaching strategies and improve teaching.On the other hand,this paper can also enable students to look directly at problems in the Chinese classroom and adjust their learning mentality,so that they can focus more on Chinese learning.
