Research On The Creation Of Korean Dancing Drama “Chunxiangzhuan”

"The Legend of Chunxiang" is one of the south Korean traditional classic literature masterpiece,and it has a pivotal role in the history of Korean literature."The Legend of Chunxiang" derived different kinds of cultural carrier and these art works develop along with time and maintain the sustainability of South Korea's classical culture in art.The multiple interpretations of classical texts by countless dancers and choreographers ensure modern meaning and,at the same time,adhere to the traditional Korean culture.This paper focuses on the historical evolution and creative characteristics of the ballet called "The Legend of Chunxiang".First of all,it explores the history of ballet creation from two aspects: historical background and development.The historical background of ballet shows different social classes,the bureaucratic evil practice,the decadence of social politics,and the extravagance of officials in the middle and late period of north Korea,which fully reflects people's depressed feeling and the strong will to break the class barrier and defeat the dark side of the society.The development exploration are respectively carries out from the dance dramas “Dance · Chunxiang”,”Smile Chunxiang” and “Kiss the Chunxiang” which are created in three different periods.Each dance drama is comprised of dance theme,stage performance and dance creation techniques to carry out the analysis.The second chapter summarizes the characteristics of the three dance dramas based on the analysis of their dance themes,stage performances and dance creation techniques.As time goes by and with the development of the society,the theme also changes.The modern stage setting is more and more high-end with multimedia and high-tech,and the creative technique makes the story much easier to be accepted by the public.It further attracts more audience,and build up the brand for traditional Korean culture.The last chapter summarizes the creation value of the dancing drama "The Legend of Chunxiang" from two aspects including the historical value and realistic value.For historical value,each dancing drama could combine with the social background at that time and have the function of recording social history.However,more importantly,it exerts asubtle influence on the value orientation of the society and reflects the audience's inner thoughts on the stage.The realistic value is manifested in cultural inheritance,on the other hand,it is manifested in cultural output.The popular dancing style first widely expanded in the scope of dissemination and among the audience.What the dance shows on the stage is not only the dancing ontology,but also the traditional culture itself.Each nation's history and culture is worthy of being remembered and inherited,which is a unique and clear way to communicate with the public.It also stands out from other arts.It not only inherits the culture,but also guarantees the diversity of the audience for cultural impact,which further results in great research value.If cultural heritage is a valuable national intangible wealth,modern science and technology would be the contemporary creator of national tangible wealth.If these two could be closely combined,and the modern meaning of them can be explored,then the traditional cultural heritage will not only be exhibited in the museum,but also exists as a living performing culture whose modern cultural values are constantly displayed and utilized.Therefore,we should pay special attention to protect traditional culture,explore the professional and unique style,and help it make a difference in the modern social value.The art itself should shine brightly and not fade away in the long history because of the passage of time.
