With the introduction and constant deepening of "the Belt and Road Initiative" in China,learning Chinese has become the trend for many countries in the world.Among them,Chinese character teaching,as one of the important elements in teaching Chinese as a foreign language,has become difficult in Chinese teaching.This paper mainly focuses on the teaching of Chinese characters,which uses the relevant knowledge and methods of cognitive psychology,and also closely combines the teaching methods of strokes and components to study the teaching of Chinese characters in "non-Chinese cultural circle" countries.This paper is divided into five chapters,which consists of the introduction of the paper,the comparison between Chinese characters teaching from the perspective of cognitive psychology and general teaching experiments,the comparison of experimental results,teaching design and a conclusion.In the first chapter,the author mainly uses psychology knowledge to study the modern Chinese characters teaching and briefly introduces cognitive psychology.In the second chapter,it mainly describes the comprehensive experiment conducted by the current popular Chinese character teaching from the perspective of cognitive psychology.The third chapter compares the experimental results;and the fourth chapter mainly solves the problems that the beginners of Chinese characters will often come across and the issues that have already occurred among them,the last chapter is a conclusion of the paper.There are some problems in the research process: students likely tend to confuse stroke shapes,increase and decrease strokes of Chinese characters or mechanical memorize them under the general teaching of parts and strokes.Although the problems may occur in the process of Chinese character teaching from the perspective of cognitive psychology,the overall correct rate is higher than that of general teaching of parts and strokes.Therefore,take it as a whole,the author thinks that the effect of Chinese characters teaching from the perspective of cognitive psychology is better than that of general teaching of parts and strokes.It is concluded that teachers should require their students to review consciously and purposefully before the beginning of teaching,and also pay attention to the combination of cognitive teaching in the process of teaching.And they should explain the wrong Chinese characters in time after the teaching test so as to improve students' ability of conscious analysis of Chinese characters.
