Different Music Expression And Performance Under Same Theme

After decades of development in the creation of piano works themed by Chinese folk songs,the world's music creation themed by elements of Chinese folk songs has also shown a gratifying state of diversified styles and contents.Piano music adapted from folk songs occupies an important position in music creation in China and even in the world with its rich national style and temperament.This paper compares Chu Wanghua's <Fantasia of Jasmine> and Arenski's <Etude>0p.25 No.3 in terms of piano works with Jiangsu folk song "<A Beautiful Jasmine> as the theme,and compares their artistic performances in terms of genre,mode and tonality,musical structure,harmony texture,rhythm,emotion,etc.And combined with their own performance practice,to analyze the similarities and differences of the two works in performance processing.In the end,it leads to the thinking of comparative research.It is hoped that through a comparative analysis of the artistic performance and performance of Wanghua Chu's <Jasmine Fantasia> and Arenski's <Etude> 0p.25 No.3,learners or performers can understand more about the artistic performance of Chinese music elements in different piano works,and provide theoretical support for how to better perform and interpret the connotation of works.
