The concept of knowledge theory is an important part of western philosophy.However,due to the different social and cultural backgrounds of China and the West,there are differences between the ancient Chinese knowledge theory and the western knowledge theory on the issues concerned,the function and expression of knowledge.The famous Chinese philosopher,Mr.Zhang Dai-nien,once suggested that the relevant theoretical exposition of knowledge itself in ancient China should not be defined as knowledge theory,but as "knowledge theory ",as in the West.Because of ancient Chinese knowledge The main concern is personal life,is in the knowledge of people,on nature.Therefore,this paper takes Zhang Zai's "knowledge" theory inquiry as the topic,tries to explore Zhang Zai's related thought and theory about knowledge.By combing the historical origin of the theory of "knowledge ",the author starts from Confucius,Mencius and Xunzi of the Confucian school in the pre-Qin period,and understands the theory of " knowledge " by Confucian scholars in the pre-Qin period.On this basis,this paper explores the origin of the theory of "knowledge" in the thought of Confucianism in Song Dynasty,in order to explore the thought source of Zhang Zai's theory of "knowledge ".Then pay attention to Zhang Zai's time,in order to analyze Zhang Zai's knowledge through social background and academic and cultural background The trajectory of the theory.The most basic problem of "knowledge" is the source and nature of "knowledge ".Zhang Zai's " knowledge " is based on his cosmological view,and holds that " knowledge " is born in the process of gasification,and " qi " provides both the subject —— person of " knowledge " and the object —— thing known.Then,people through the sympathetic formation of things to see the knowledge,and play a certain "heart" function.However,due to the limitations of the senses," the knowledge of seeing and hearing " will appear narrow.If we want to overcome the narrowness of seeing and hearing and reach the knowledge of virtue,we need to exert the effort of "big heart and body ",which is supplemented by " leaving the Ming Dynasty " In order to form a knowledge that goes beyond seeing and hearing.Zhang Zai believes that only the knowledge of virtue and nature beyond seeing and hearing can realize the understanding of heaven and nature,and the knowledge of the highest field can be obtained.Zhang Zai is the first philosopher to distinguish between "knowledge of knowledge" and "knowledge of virtue ".He has made some achievements in the study of " knowledge " theory,which has an important influence on his later Neo-Confucianist Cheng Yi and Wang Fuzhi,and provides reference for modern Neo-Confucianism's thought of " knowledge ".Corresponding.An analysis of the implicit link between the connotation of "knowledge of knowledge" and "knowledge of virtue" reveals that knowledge is interdependent,whether it is to morality or science and technology to philosophy.And vice versa.
