As an important part of the judicial inspection system,post-mortem examiner has played an important role in autopsy activities since its birth. The government of the Qing Dynasty made clear regulations on the quota, cultivation, and income of the post-mortem examine,so that the artificial works began to formally become the official service under the government. However, compared with doctors who "live" the pretences of the "dead" are much lower, both in status and status. The reasons for this phenomenon are undoubtedly diverse: both the government has imposed necessary restrictions on it to test decentralization, and the people have been alienated due to traditional ideas. One of the reasons for this is the bottleneck in the development of their own professional and technical issues. This article aims to restore the true social status of the Qing Dynasty from three different perspectives of the post-mortem examine, the government and the common people, and analyzes the various reasons for the formation of this phenomenon.
